Michael Bill
Michael Bill (Oz) Osborne, 65, of Martinsville, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. He was born on September 19, 1949 in Danville to the late, Arthur Osborne and Nancy Powell Osborne of Martinsville. Michael served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired as an auto upholster, working years at Rudy's Upholstery, his own business, Mike's Upholstery in Eden, and retiring from McGhee's Upholstery. He was an active member of AmVets Post 35 and was an avid golfer.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mandy Biggs and his brother, Mark Osborne.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, April Osborne Broadnax of Eden, N.C. and Tammy Saunders of Stoneville, N.C.; his sister, Mitzi Osborne French of Martinsville and two grandchildren, Dylan Ferguson and Ethan Aaron. Trudy Osborne of Stoneville, N.C. also survives.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Community Funeral Services-Ridgeway Chapel and other times at the home, 1310 Hillcrest Ave. in Martinsville.
The funeral service will be held August 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Community Funeral Chapel with Rev. J. D. Harmon and Rev. Bob Thurman officiating. Interment will follow in Museville Christian Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Community Funeral Services, Ridgeway.
