Randy & Dawn Shank - 16
11/23/09     Kathy Baird Yarmey  (1969)      kathyjeancville@yahoo.com
For those of you who haven't heard, Dawn had foot surgery a week or so ago. She's recuperating fine but cannot put pressure on it so is out of commission. Also, Randy had a heart attack last week, had a couple of surgical procedures and is also recuperating. Their daughter has been helping them out while they're both down and out. Keep them in your prayers for speedy recoveries.

Re: Randy & Dawn Shank
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Randy actually didn't have a heart attack. He had one several years ago and had angioplasty and another stent put in and is doing great. Hopefully the procedures will prevent another heart attack. Merry Christmas everyone!

Re: Randy & Dawn Shank
My My Dawn and Randy...seems we arent wearing a younger persons clothes any longer..Darn it..Both of you will most likely do very fine but I have cared for about 100,000 patients in the same situation so I know there is some patience required here and that is one of my least favorite things..patience..(patients arent so much a problem..) Im not so sure what sort of foot surgery you had but in mid Nov I will have my left ankle almost totally rebuilt with the reattachment of three tendons, fusion of the major joint and they will cut my heel and place it more to the left and under me.. I hope you can imagine just how much I will enjoy all that pain and then recuperation which will require sitting still...my least favorite activity..!!
