Please Donate for Julie Fitzgerald to Attend Reunion - 17
09/21/09     Peka  (1970)      Pekaat4PAWS@aol.com
What I would like to do for Julie is to gather donations to pay for the following: (1) Transportation to and from Chatmoss for the dinner/dance. Jake thinks Stone Funeral Home has the right van; (2) Get Kay from Kay's Alterations (or someone) to visit Julie and make a dress for her; (3) For her to attend the dinner/dance at Chatmoss; (4) For her to receive a class photo (they always take one). I don't know the cost of these. But, I know she would be thrilled.

Hi Peka:
Please send me your mailing address and I will send a donation. Thank you for organizing something so wonderful.

Re: Please Donate for Julie Fitzgerald to Attend Reunion
I visited my mother-in-law this evening (Tuesday 9-29)at Blue Ridge Rehab and ran into Julie on my way out. I know she's living there and have visited with her a number of times. This evening she asked if I was in a hurry to leave, which I wasn't, and she asked me to help her put something out of sight in her room. I followed her to her room and she showed me a small LCD TV and I assume a wireless headset she had received as a gift today, from her Mavahi classmates. She was thrilled about the gift and is excited about another gift that she's been told to expect in the future (not the class reunion deal, which I won't mention to her). She's hoping that maintenance can set up her TV for her tomorrow (Wednesday 9-30).
Congratulations on setting a standard of giving for others to follow.
