Come see the museum that our classmate Noel Boaz founded! The Virginia Museum of Natural History is a world-class, state-of-the-art museum, which focuses on research and collections, as well as education. Curator of Mammalogy Dr. Nancy Moncrief will give us an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the areas where the scientists work.
The tour begins at 1:00 p.m. If you're not attending the brunch at King's Grant, consider having lunch at the Paleo Cafe in the museum gift shop. Admission to the museum is free for members, $9.00 for adults, $5 for children. If we have at least 10 in our group, admission will be only $5 for adults.
Gael Chaney is a trained museum interpreter and will host the group. |
