Hi JP. I remember the trip. That was a good band. The Ruffner Hotel was over 100 years old, and torn down the year after we stayed there. Here is a link with a picture of it.

I sure remember it. Being the only female in the band, they had me in a room by myself on a different floor from all you guys. There was a crack in the door and I was terrified that the drunk old elevator man who couldn't seem to get the elevator even with the floors was going to come and get me! That was the beginning of my romance with my husband of 30 years. Ruff it at the Ruffner. A great trip. We ought to all go back there for a reunion. Maybe they have a lounge where we could perform. What are you up to these days, JP? I just took early retirement and still enjoy singing.
