Video-Johnny Bryant - 17
09/30/01     Bill Adams  (1970)      Billadams@tripeds.com
(This is crossposted from the MHS Band Discussion, only this part about Johnny copied here. The complete post is there)

"I wonder if anyone else has stayed in the music business. I look up Johnny Bryant every once in a while, I just knew then that he was an innovator. He's in Texas. There's info on the web about him. He wrote a great letter to the editor about Ringo a few years ago. Another band once called Phyreworks. Here is a cool video with him and his group D-drum:

By the way, I am just a web nerd, finding info, not claiming to know how Johnny is doing, he was always just a super guy..."

Re: Video-Johnny Bryant
Rightly suspecting Johnny was still making a mark on the music world, I did a search on his name (don't you just love Google?). I read it with interest, ordered his CD -"Village Beside Time" with D'DRUM- it's awesome, and sent him an e-mail. He lives in Dallas and has a music production company that writes music for TV films and commercials, etc. He is in hopes someone will take on the painstaking task of organizing another reunion. You can let him know at bryant1@airmail.net

Re: Video-Johnny Bryant
Thanks for the info Bill & Rita...was wondering where Johnny was these days. I was just in Dallas two weekends ago visiting.
I'llhave to send him an e-mail...hopefully he'll remember this old baritone player of yore. Happy Holidays to ya.
