What's up with this class? - 18

Where's the rambunctious class of '73 at these days. What's the matter Conrad, needing some Geritol lately? David Young, are you still making noise on those drums?

Re: What's up with this class?
HEY, Dicky!

Still playing drums! I'm in a band with my oldest son (a rising senior at Ga Tech and one heck of a bass player), called The Amazing Mongooses. We have a CD single coming out in two weeks, and we're performing four songs on a local TV show here called Atlanta Jazz and Blues.

Other than that, I'm still a school counselor. I finished my Ed.S. degree at the University of Georgia in 2004 (are you still at UGA?). My youngest, Tyler, starts high school this year.

LOTS to update you on.......if you're still in north Georgia, maybe you can come hear us play this summer! We play about four or five different clubs around the metro area. E-mail me back when you can.

AND....Class of '73 members....Dicky is right, y'know....where IS everybody? :-)

Re: What's up with this class?
Is it only the musical folks that read this board? Still playing the flute myself, and have taken up the mandolin (good thing I was never one of the gals into beautiful long painted nails) although my only audience is family, friends, pets, and backyard birds (my cat not sure what to make of the sometimes unusual noises I make on the mandolin).
Those lips still working the horn Dicky?
Amazing Mongooses? Ok David, obviously your sense of humor genetically translated to the kids. What kind of music are we talking here? Electric or Acoustic Bass? Let me know when cd out, would love to listen.
As for Conrad, is it Geritol or Hair Club for Men....
Can't talk myself, plenty gray enough to have hit the bottle for restoration. It was tempting to do pink or purple spikes, but didn't think my real estate clients would appreciate too much punk.
Sure would like to get together with some of y'all - hot 'lanta closer for me than M'ville. Will be ready for some comic relief in Aug/Sept, going in for double mastectomy sometime in late July. Yep, the big c.(probably no one will notice the difference as I was not exactly well endowed anyway - perhaps I should upgrade when I get reconstruction). Happy thoughts my way appreciated.
Henry L - still working at home & handling kids in NC? 'Reetah' still Outer Banking? What's happening with Mike Hundley - our 'event coordinator' seems to have dropped out of sight.
Anyone know how I get my name fixed on my picture? Don't know how I ended up as Catherine instead of Martha, can't have confused me with Mary Catherine Dallas - too short among other differences....
Hugs to all -
