Remember Me? - 18
12/19/06     Steve Clodfelter  (1973)      sgclodfelter@yahoo.com
I just recently found this site and had to say hello. The names and pictures brought back a lot of memories. My picture is not in the annual so most of you may not remember me. I still live in Martinsville and I run up on some of you from time to time. I hope everyone is doing well and I am sorry to hear about the ones we have lost. I will continue to keep check on this site so that I can keep track of my fellow classmates. So I will say goodby for now to the best class ever.

Re: Remember Me?
I remember you well and fondly.

How are you?

I live in Danville as I have for 30+ years and I see almost no one from school.

Re: Remember Me?
Hello Jeanne I remember you very fondly as well. I have thought about you often down through the years and wondered how you are doing and where you are. I am doing fine. Between working and bowling I stay pretty busy. I have to go to China three or four times a year for three to six weeks at a time so I am out of the states a lot. I hope before long I can cut my number of trips down some. I also bowl in a few PBA tournaments a year so that keeps me on the road also. I hope you and your family are doing well and had a very good Christmas and I wish you and yours all the best. I hope to talk to you again very soon and take care.

Re: Remember Me?
Hello David it is good to hear from you. I understand you are in Atlanta. I have made numerous trips down there for tournaments and just for pleasure. I really love the city and once considered relocating there. But my job so far has dictated otherwise. I am glad to hear you are doing well. Now that I know this site is here I am going to stay in contact whenever I can.

Re: Remember Me?
Hello Steve

I am living happily divorced in Danville. My three children are grown and gone and I have 4 grandchildren. I travel none since my youngest graduated college. I traveled quite a bit while he was playing football in college, chasing the games. I loved it!!

I am glad to hear you are happy. I thought of you often through the years and hoped your life would be all you wanted.

Take care and hope to hear from you.

Jeanne

Re: Remember Me?
Steve-
I'm a year ahead of you, but I remember you! My memory isn't what it was at 40, but I think you & I & Joe Dameron used to play cards in study hall together (when we weren't making Rumley's runs). I'm outside of Atlanta, in the Covington area (where they filmed 'In the Heat of the Night') and, ironically, teach for Henry County Schools here in GA. Good to hear from you.

Steve:
I remember your family lived above the ball field at Clearview Elementary School. Your father, Thad?, and my father were co-workers at times.

Hi Steve, I know you remember me, this is Mike Carter, and I think I last saw you at American Furniture. They shut the doors April 15,2010.I know you left before then- hope you have a good job.Just found this site today,I'm amazed by the people that have already passed on.Remember Roland Carter? He passed a while back, I remember Mike Smart and Thomas Leith too, It's hard to believe they're gone already.Isn't time short?Let me know how you're doing.
