Martinsville was on HBO Real Sports - 27
12/19/02     Bryan Hightower  (1982)      hightobk@ugcorp.com
I was looking at Real Sports on HBO last night and guess what came on Mr. Bobby Dalton being interviewed about the Death of Delvin Hairston. Bobby Dalton did a great interview and represented Martinsville very well. If anyone get a chance, make sure you watch HBO Real Sports this week or go to there website www.hbo.com and check it out.

Re: Martinsville was on HBO Real Sports
This guy that I use to work with called me yesterday and told me he saw it too. It comes on again tonight. I think at 7:00 PM. He said that it was a good piece. It's a shame that we have to be on T. V. for a tragedy instead of the "good" that takes place there! Happy holidays to you and your family. Happy holidays to everyone!!

Re: Martinsville was on HBO Real Sports
Yes, It's definitely a shame that a tragedy puts Martinsville back on T.V. again, but this particular piece is about rivalries within sports and how tragedies can occur because of them. We all know that there are a lot of rivalries in Dog country. The interview shed light on how we as spectators can take things to far. Well Mark I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday and if I don't see you before the New Year be safe as well.
