Re: Update on Andrew's Surgery |
Dear Jules,
Eveytime we've gone through this, I turn it over to God. Then, the situation becomes bearable. I don't look forward to practically living at the hospital, or eating the food there, but I'll do whatever it takes to restore Andrew. I actually feel sympathy for the devil dog! He'll so miss Andrew's constant attention and mine as well! But, he'll be a saving grace for Andrew when he comes home and to help him rehabilitate. Dogs after all accept you unconditionally, even when you become different. Thanks for the prayers! |

Re: Update on Andrew's Surgery |
Hey you guys,
Thanks for the continued support in prayers! Andrew's surgery has been moved to March 4th. Apparently, a child who was to have surgery on the 14th of Feb. was not having seizures confirmed so the surgeons could map out where to operate, so they had to move his surgery up to Andrew's original surgery date. This poor kid has to wear a grid for one more week in hopes he will have seizures that will map out his surgery spot in detail. These wires are implanted in the brain and come out of the skull. They are mounted to a battery pack that weighs 20 lbs. Andrew had to wear one 4 years ago, and it makes going anywhere quite an experience. Thank God for technology, and for a child's resilience and patience! We could all learn a little of that! Again, thanks for your continued prayers. In God we confidently trust! |
