Andrew is Home! - 27
03/09/03     Laura McBride  (1982)      gravytrain@earthlink.net
Hey friends!
My 15 year old son, Andrew, had 9 hour brain surgery to remove and disconnect 1/2 of the left side of his brain on Tues., March 4th. He survived the surgery, and had the usual complications, vomiting, lethargy, weakness. He came home yesterday(Sat., the 8th). His walking isn't too bad, he's talking, and awake more. Keep him in your prayers, as well as me in your prayers. Even when you get good news, pray in victory for him! I should get biopsy results in a few days. Will let ya'll know when I get them.
Laura

Re: Andrew is Home!
God is awesome! Praise Him for the positive results. More prayers on the way up for the biopsy tests. Thanks for the update, Laura. Take care - let go, and let God. Clay ><>

Re: Andrew is Home!
You guys,
Keep those prayers in overdrive! Andrew has a huge amount of blood swelling under the skin below the surgery line. They say this is normal, but he has to be watched for infection, and it sure is scary to see it draining, and reswelling when he's up and about. Also, we got second opinions from his last two biopsys from Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. They day he had benign cancer in both surgeries, and questionable cancer cells from the surgery he had two years ago. We're awaiting this final surgery biopsy any day. If it comes back cancer, they say they may radiate,we're just in limbo. Thanks for your prayers! They mean everything!
