That's what I'm talking about! - 27
09/04/03     Mark A. Hairston  (1982)      markahairston@msn.com
As always, the class of '82 not only stepped up to the plate, but took a mighty swing!! I knew it wouldn't take much to get my beloved classmates back on the message board! Clay, thanks for the response to my message. First of all, at least you are in the right conference! I'm stuck here in what's left of the big east. Pittsburgh is supposed to be a powerhouse this year. There are a lot of big names coming into town: Va. Tech, Miami, and Notre Dame to name a few. (I'm not a panther fan though) I do get to watch a lot of Penn State football!!! Doesn't get to much better than that! I am sending out warm thoughts and well wishes to you and your family!! Laura, you must remember, that all things are possible through God! Never forget that. Stay strong and never forget that there are people, (your classmates), that are praying for you, Andrew, and your entire family! With that much prayer, turn it over to God! Hope, you sound like you have it going on!! You too are in the right conference wrong school! :) The Tech thing gives you one get out of jail free card from me! :) Up here I salute anything that has to do with VA. It could be apple butter, if it's from VA, it's the best in the world!! Good luck with the new move, and check the message board frequently!! Mr. Hightower, I guess you can pass too! I work for a not-for-profit company here in PGH, so I understand being busy, getting things up and running. Good luck and I hope everything works out ok. I guess I have made myself the '82 site police! Some of our classmates are loitering! Some of "us" are apparently just readers and not writers!! "We" would like to know what's going on with all of our classmates!! James E., James D., Turk, Ellis, Tammy, Carla, Scott, Norman, Angela, Delores... I guess you get the message!! But everyone!! Let's keep in touch, and not just once every 5-10 years!!! Remember: "Like sand in a hour glass, those are the days of our lives!!" :) :) Peace.

Hi Mark, even though we keep in touch, I really liked this message. Dear Mark & Lucretia,
Thanks so much for your support and prayers. I know God is awesome. Thanks again for being angels in our lives! It would be great to hear how everyone else is doing. "Above all, may you prosper, and be in great health!"

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the reply. I have a sister who lives in State College. Her husband teaches at Penn State. They are famous for their tailgate parties. Those Lion alumni are CRAZY. What type of work do you do for the nonprofit? I do alot of grantwriting for nonprofits. Just curious. Take care and thanks for stirring the pot.

Hope
