Just wanted to announce the birth of our 3rd child, a daughther, Devon Grace Buffkin, born Sept 5, weighing in at a bulky 9lb 4oz. Her Sister Kaylee and brother Grant are so excited they cant keep their hands off of her! Karen and baby are doing great.
I hope everyone is doing well...I dont check the message board as often as I would like, but I do like to read through some of the postings...makes me wish we had reunions more than every 5/10 years.

Hey Doug,
Congrats on the new addition! What a beautiful name! Glad to hear Mom and baby are doing well. Pull your seatbelt a little tighter, number 3 cranks up energy level a bit. We have three daughters ages 9, 10 and 11. I wish we could bottle their energy and sell it. Take care,

Thanks for the well wishes and responses. Bryan and Laura, the hair color is TBD at this point...its brown for now but Im sure it wont stay that way since Karen is blonde...somethings gotta give! Since our other 2 are redheads, she is holding out hope for a blonde...we will see.
Hope, I only wish I had a tenth of the energy these kids have...you know what they say, its payback time now that we are the parents! 9, 10 and 11?? Someone was busy for a few years! Always good to hear from others in the same boat!

Hey, Doug,
I haven't been on this site in quite a while. I was surprised to see that you have multiplied again. Congrats!!!!
Of course, you know I have three already. I certainly don't plan on multiplying any more. My oldest just graduated from high school, the next one has 2 years left, and the baby just turned 7 on Sep. 11.
I was shocked when I saw your baby's name. My oldest son was born on June 2, 1988, weighed 9 lbs 3 1/2 oz, and his name is Devon Scott Sanders. What a coincidence!!!
Take care of your lovely family. I look forward to seeing you again at the next reunion, if not before. |
