Hello classmates!! - 27
11/24/03     Mark A. Hairston  (1982)      markahairston@msn.com
Hello fellow '82 classmates!! This is just a short note to say hello and to wish you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!! I hope that you all are truely thankful for the many blessings that you individually have experienced, and the many blessings that we as a class have had bestowed upon us. We have been blessed to be raised in a community where we "learned" to get along with each other despite the things that may have been going on around us. I believe, that as a class, we really did "play well" as a group!! And for that I am thankful. I am thankful that I went to MAVAHI and that I had the opportunity to experience all the good times that were there to be had by all. For that I am thankful. I am thankful that when I see my classmates on the street or at the mall, I don't have to pretend not to see them, so I will not have to speak to them. I am thankful for my family and my friends for being there regardless of what the situation is. Maybe we all should share one thing that we are especially thankful for this year. I'll start: I am thankful for life and good health. With that I will say see ya later, as we begin this 39th/40th/41st :) :) holiday season of our lives!!! Peace.

Re: Hello classmates!!
You're right Mark,
As my mother used to say, it's hard to be hateful and greatful at the same time! I'm thankful that I have God in my life, a warm roof over my head, and food to eat!( I need to back off that a bit, but I guess that's for New Years). Bless you for reminding us that we do have a lot to be thankful for instead of being wordly all the time.
