20TH YEAR REUNION - 30
01/08/05     Brad Smart  (1985)      brad@olfinishing.com
Hello everyone and happy new year! Well, it's time to start working on our 20 year reunion...Am I really this old?!? Oh well, I still feel like I did in 1985, just have grown a bit.

I guess I have been kinda nominated to head the reunion again this time and I am ready to get started. Thanks to those would have shown an interest in helping! Sorry I haven't replied, but I have been real busy with a new career venture. I definitely will need lots of help for sure.

My goal is to make our reunion a great experience. Those that came to the 10th hopefully were pleased and we hope to expand and have even a better one this time.

The biggest problem with the 10th, I found out later, was that many classmates never received info about the reunion and therefore knew nothing about it. It turns out we had a very poor system of getting in touch with classmates and finding out where they were. The school offered no help either. 10 years later practically everyone in America has access to a computer and the internet. My fingers are crossed that that will make a big difference in making sure EVERY classmate receives info and will in turn increase attendence.

I am currently compiling a questionaire that will be posted here to be filled out or printed out and returned to me. The questionaire should give the reunion committee feedback on how the majority of you feel about certain aspects of how we should proceed with the reunion.

For those of you that want to help, please get in touch with any classmates you know and direct them to mavahi.com. This will be our main source of communication and it will be critical for everyone to become aware of this site. We had approx 75 classmates attend the 10th and our goal this time should be at least 125+.

I am excited about getting back in touch with you guys and we need to plan on having much interaction and participation!

Still Jackin' It In '05

Brad
