Message To My Class of 1957 Friends - 4
12/18/04     Ralph Pruitt  (1957)
Recently I have been criticized for leaving
a lot of posts on this site and yet not be-
ing a actual graduate. No one realizes as
much as I do that I am a "high school drop-
out" and I have made no claims to the con-
trary. Although I did "drop out" ... I
still feel a connection with the Class of
1957 because it was filled with so many
kids that I could call "friend". MERRY
CHRISTMAS to all of you and I have high
hopes of being at the 'Old Dawgs 2005 and
will get to see a lot of my old friends
from MHS.

Re: Message To My Class of 1957 Friends
I check in on this site often but I am not
one given to leave a post...but Ralph you do.
It doesn't matter if you dropped out...drop
in with a post anytime. I felt growing up
in Martinsville..during the 50's and
attending Mavahi... a privilege. I kinda
thought of us as an extended family. And,
who doesn't want to hear from a family
member. Keep those posts coming.
Merry Christmas and God bless.

Re: Message To My Class of 1957 Friends

Hey Ralph....my fellow Jones Creek-ean (new word that I just created).

It has been a few weeks since I checked into here, so today is the first chance that I have had to read recent posts. I want to "AMEN" Ken's and Raven's replies. I would like to be shown those stone tablets where it is written that one must be a graduate to enjoy this Mavahi.com site.....besides, Ralph, class of 1956 adopted you, didn't we?

I post more on here than most people, and what's more, I enjoy it. I sure don't plan to be intimidated into quitting as long as I have something that I feel like saying.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Re: Message To My Class of 1957 Friends
Thanks, Esther! Great word you came up
with. I believe you feel as I do about
leaving "posts" on this site. When there
is something to say ... SAY IT! I do not
expect 100 percent agreement ... but I do
expect the right to say it!

Hey Ralph, I've said it before and I'll say it again.....you're the tie that keeps us bound together on the message board, the spark that keeps the old chariots going, and I'll go so far as to say YOU are Marv, the spirit of Mavahi!!!
