Reunion 2010

It's official! The class of 1970 will have a reunion the weekend of April 24, 2010. The main event will be a party at Chatmoss Country Club Saturday evening. Phil Scales and I made the reservations and started the planning last weekend. We also hope to have a picnic in the city park. My husband, Smith, has some ideas for other events. If you haven't been to Martinsville recently, there are some good surprises to be found.
This reunion is for Alumni and Friends, so if you ever went to school with us, if only for a year, or even in another class, we want you to come.
The first step is collecting as many addresses (e-mail and snail mail) as possible. Please e-mail them to mavahi1970@gmail.com.
I would like to use this web site and not those other "classmates" sites that fill up my spam box and charge for their services. I also have a group and event listed on Facebook. Old folks like us have started invading Facebook, and it's very handy for finding people.
Thanks in advance for your help in finding people. Please let me know if you'd like to be on the planning committee.
