'Old Dawgs Alumni and Reunions - 54
08/10/04     Ralph Pruitt  (1956)      crow4u@earthlink.net
Very recently I was tabbed the "most proli-
fic writer" on this site. Sounds like
"sourgrapes" to me. However, when I have
something to say on this site ..... I am
going to express my opinion irregardless of
what others may think. This trip I am ask-
ing all students of MHS to support the 'Old
Dawgs Alumni committee 100 percent. Please
make plans to attend the next reuion being
held 15-16 Oct 2004. Many folks are work-
ing in the background to make the next re-
union possible .... PLEASE SUPPORT THEM!

Re: 'Old Dawgs Alumni and Reunions
Thanks Ralph, I havn't heard anyone putting you down for your comment's on this great web page. If they are talking about you, then they must fill guilty about what you say. I saw Billy Robertson at the Peach Fest. Friday night and told him about the Ole Dawgs reunion. He showed interest and wants me to remind him later. Take care my friend and remember that words can only hurt if you let them.

Re: 'Old Dawgs Alumni and Reunions
Thanks Melvin ...... I remember Billy
Robertson real well ..... as well as his
brothers James and Clyde (deceased). We
played a lot of ball together on Jones
Creek in the pasture. If you see Billy
again anytime soon ..... tell him I said
hello.

Re: 'Old Dawgs Alumni and Reunions
Thanks again, Melvin. You are getting to
be like a "real old friend" although I do
not recall you from Northside. Be sure to
remind Billy about the reunion. My wife and
I will be there and it would be a thrill for
me to see Billy Robertson again.

Re: 'Old Dawgs Alumni and Reunions
Thanks Ralph, I consider it an honor to be an old friend. I will keep talking to Billy and also see if he can get his brothers and sister to come. Later.

Re: 'Old Dawgs Alumni and Reunions
PS Thanks also for the picture. I was 8 years old at the time, but seem to remember that game. If it was the same game all the clowns did crazy things like catching fly balls with a basket or running the bases in the opposite direction. Thanks for the great memory.

Re: 'Old Dawgs Alumni and Reunions
OK, Melvin .... now I know why I most
likely do not remember you. If you were
only 8 ..... and I was 15 .... we were
moving around in two different worlds. I
was really surprised at how much you re-
member the game we played that day. You
were 100 percent correct about using a bas-
ket to catch the ball (my brother Billy did
that) and running the bases in the opposite
direction .... we did that more than once.
Good memory, kiddo .....
