Class of '62 Pig Pickin & Dinner/Dance - 9
08/21/02     C. Bruce Lupton  (1962)      Loopydade@aol.com
I want to thank Doug and Lewis Riddle for their gracious hospitality in openning up their home for the pig pickin' tonight. It was well attended and a wonderful meal. What fun to see all you guys and gals again and my, some of ya'll look as good as when you graduated,if not better. I'll bet us Southsiders had a dozen and a half folks there. Great to see all of you. Let's get this webpage moving a little, classmates. The dinner/dance at the new Chatmoss CC clubhouse was very nice. The meal was great, except we didn't get tea or coffee unless we begged for it, but the evening was perfect none the less. Billy T. MC'ed the event and read the "Last Will and Testament" that we left when we graduated. Some were very funny some made no sense at all, but hey, we wrote that stuff 40 years ago. Billy T. kept reminding us that he didn't write "this stuff." It was fun. The dance music was provided by Tim Norman and his son, John Michael. Tim is the DJ at the Dutch Inn and also has the DJ sevice "Fly By Night." Nice job Tim and John Michael. Anyway, we missed all who were not there and enjoyed the company of Ruth Pace, Sam Lawrence and Chester Lane. I personally thank all those who helped put this on, like Billy T., Liz, Doug, Judy, Margaret, Faye, Pat and the others. Great job........Bruce.
